A boat ride over the entire 1.1-mile length of Lake Jacqueline is a terrific way to get started for Desert Shores. If you can’t do it physically, the next best thing is virtual.

Starting at the south end of Lake Jacqueline, the trip travels up the lake through the Breakwater Bridge, nearly to the north end, and then returns to the west bank, passing the Lakeside Center and the Desert Shores Community Center.
